Each day will be comprised of presentation of techniques & strategies, guided meditation,
private tutorials & an opportunity to practice during silent sitting.

Stephanie Nash has a psychology degree from Duke University and a Masters from Yale.  
She teaches meditation privately, leads workshops and small group classes (for all levels of experience),
in addition to leading (with Pam Tarlow) a Mindful Eating Support Group every Monday night.   
She also wrote the study-guide that accompanies Shinzen Young’s “Talks on Teaching” tapes.

Terry Roberts
has a Masters Degree in counseling, and has worked with his own pain
(from fibromyalgia after an injury) –as well as helping others work with pain
– using Shinzen’s techniques for 12 years.  Both Terry & Stephanie have been trained by Shinzen Young  
as facilitators with VSI  (Vipassana Support International) and have led
many
of the one-day meditation retreats VSI offers at the Santa Monica Zen Center each month (on the 4th Saturday.)
